The concept was to create an emblematic and iconic building in Havana, Cuba, for use as a convention center as well as branch offices to the Association of Caribbean States. The main characteristics and morphology of the edification emerged from the analysis of developing a building that was directly related to the identity of Cuba and born of contextual parameters and urban features.
Inspired by Cubans and the tracks they leave wherever they go, the project emulates the image of a skin that is not completely released but maintains a strong bond with its roots.
